On 29 May 2020, it was announced that the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) would be extended to cover the period from June to August.

Extension of the SEISS to August 2020
The extension of the SEISS will provide self-employed individuals who qualify to claim a grant of 70% of their average trading profits for the three months up to August 2020, up to a maximum of £6,570.
The grant is subject to income tax and self-employment national insurance contributions within the 2020/2021 tax year.
The claim will cover the three month period for June to August, and as with the original claim, individuals who qualify will be invited by HMRC to make a claim via their personal tax account in August.
